It is a place where the world apocalypse started and known as World War I, after Franz Ferdinand Archduke of Austria was assassinated by a Serbian student Gavrilo Princip. During that period, Bosnia was colonized by the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Sarajevo was a home city of the Winter Olympic Games in 1984 and the place of the longest war siege in modern history, from 1992 to 1996. After the fall of the Berlin wall, irresponsible politicians caused the war from which Bosnia has still not recovered from today. This city is known as the European Jerusalem where you will find a synagogue, mosque, church and an orthodox monastery within a few hundred meters from each other. There is an option of visiting the tunnel below the airport through which Sarajevo received supplies for around 32 months during the siege and a visit to the Bosnia River Spring. We may visit Arboretum Trsteno, Ston, Narona museum, Počitelj, Kravice waterfalls, Blagaj, Mostar, enroute to Sarajevo.
